My tips for a Spa day at home

01.05.2019
With all the stresses of everyday life it is important that we take some time out of our busy schedules and try and relax.
Not everyone can afford the luxury of a day at the spa.
Here are my top tips of how I treat myself from the comfort of my home.
Your body and mind will thank you!

First of all, you need to set the mood. Make sure the room is warm and cosy and light a few candles to set the scene.

Make yourself a fruit infused ice chilled water, I personally love lemon or cucumber. This will ensure your body stays hydrated throughout your home treatments.

I love to download a spa music play list just to have on low in the background. It adds that extra touch while you’re trying to relax.

BODY

I have found a great home spa range from Arbonne called Rescue and Renew.
Inspired by ancient Ayurvedic spa practices, this approach focuses on the body’s flow of energy for the ultimate in self-care. The ritual and products combined help detoxify the body by cleansing the skin’s surface of impurities while also protecting the skin’s moisture barrier.

Three of my favourite products from this range are:-

Detox Mask – This beautiful mask glides onto your skin so well drawing out impurities from the skins surface like a magnet. This left my complexion looking cleansed and renewed in just 10 minutes.

Detox Scrub – This stuff smells incredible. Polishes away dry, dead surface cells while leaving your skin hydrated and feeling touchably soft.

Rescue & Renew Detox Gelée - A fresh way to cool down. This cooling gel can be rubbed on to help soothe tired muscles, as well as provide hydration for soft, smooth looking skin.

HAIR

Most of the products I use on my locks are Redken, they just seem to keep my hair in great condition after I decided to bleach the lot.

Three of my favourite product from this range are:-

Anti snap – Because of the bleach, my hair has become really weak. This helps repair and replenish damaged hair, smoothing the appearance of split ends while reducing the risk of further breakage.

Blonde Idol Bbb Spray – This is a game changer! A lightweight leave-in or rinse-out multi-benefit conditioning treatment. I seriously couldn’t be without this miracle in a bottle.

Heatcure at Home Self-Heating Mask – I love a hair mask, especially one that heats up itself. I use this once a week and my hair becomes so soft to touch and easy to blow dry and style after.

  1. I love the BodyShop seaweed mud mask... tingly and extracts the dirt from your skin. Highly recommended.

Haven’t tried the airborne range, must give that a go!

I love Spa music to get you in the mood Xx
